Accessibility Statement

Chocolatte is committed to making its website accessible to people with disabilities. This site aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, in the spirit of the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) and the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013.

Accessibility toolbar. A button in the bottom-right corner of every page opens a menu of 18 adjustments: five colour modes (monochrome, sepia, high contrast, black-on-yellow, inverted), text and page zoom, a readable font, link and heading highlighting, image descriptions on hover or shown permanently, two enlarged cursors, stop-animations, and a keyboard-navigation mode. Every tool has a keyboard shortcut (Shift plus a letter), plus Alt+Q for this statement, Alt+P to reset and Alt+R to report a problem. Choices are stored in your browser and persist across pages. The toolbar is our own code - it loads nothing from a third-party server and sends no data about your visit to anyone. To be straightforward about it: a toolbar is an aid, not a substitute for an accessible site, and the measures below were built into the site itself.

Measures implemented include: full keyboard navigation, visible focus states, verified color contrast, alternative text for images, ARIA labels and semantic headings, screen reader support, full manual control of the hero carousel and respect for the reduced-motion preference, enlarged touch targets on mobile, and a fully responsive layout.

Known limitations. The site is under active development and we keep improving its accessibility. Despite our efforts, you may come across a component or a page that has not yet been made fully accessible. If you run into one, we would genuinely like to hear about it, and we will fix it.
